LinkedIn 101
LinkedIn functions much like Facebook but is primarily used for professional networking. To create a LinkedIn account, go to www.LinkedIn.com. From there, you can set up your professional profile and preferences for when or how you'd like to be contacted.
You are invited to join the group Friends of the MMPA. We encourage you to set your notification preferences so that you are sent an email when new items are posted to the MMPA group discussions. You can set these preferences by going to the upper right-hand corner of your screen and clicking "Settings." Under "Email Notifications," click "Receiving Messages." Here you can manage all your email settings for LinkedIn, but we would recommend you click "Daily Digest Email" under Groups for the Friends of the MMPA. That way, you'll receive only one message from us per day, but it will keep you up to date on all the latest happenings.
