EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The Minnesota Magazine Publishing Excellence Awards recognize and foster outstanding publishing achievements. This competition includes dozens of categories in the areas of editorial, design, marketing, digital publishing and overall excellence.

ELIGIBILITY

All entries must have a cover date between July 1, 2012, and June 30, 2013. All members of MMPA are eligible to submit entries regardless of where they are published. Entries from nonmembers must be published in Minnesota but may be printed elsewhere. For the purpose of these awards, a publication is defined as having a frequency of at least one issue per year and must still be publishing when the submission is made. The publication must have a minimum of 25 percent editorial (non-advertising) content.

All entries are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2013.

JUDGES

Judges are carefully selected based on their expertise in the areas of editorial, design, marketing, circulation, and overall publication excellence as well as their ability to judge the submissions fairly. All decisions of the judges are final.

Nonmembers may apply to be judges.
